Summary:

The primary objective of the Software Developer position is to work with team members to produce high quality and timely software products.

Responsibilities:

• Create innovative and elegant software designs to meet business needs.

• Ensure the integrity of component designs as they pass through all phases of the software development lifecycle.

• Play a hands-on role in driving the successful implementation and enhancements of high-quality system components.

• Work productively as part of a software development team.

• Maintain a command of current technology.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

• 3+ years of C++/C# Object-oriented development in MS Windows environment.

• Demonstrated record of delivering high quality software products to market.

• Extensive knowledge of Windows platform technologies including Win32 API, COM, threading and sockets.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Experience with distributed application architectures, UNIX platforms and interaction with off-shore development teams is desirable.

• Knowledge and application of formal software development processes or methodologies and formal design notations like UML is desirable.

• Ability to be a successful cooperative team member.

• Basic English skills and ability to improve those skills.
